Meet the face behind the facials
Hi there! I'm Melanie, and I created Skin Apothecary to offer more than just facials. This is a space where skincare is intentional, inclusive, and deeply personal. I focus on custom treatments designed to meet your skin where it is, leaving you with visible results, a sense of ease, and the clarity to know exactly what your skin needs next.
My skin journey? It was a hot mess.
Once upon a time, my face was COVERED in acne, and nothing seemed to work. I tried everything from DIY turmeric masks to burning off layers with harsh actives. I piled on makeup to hide the bumps and scars, but underneath, I felt insecure and often skipped social plans just to avoid being seen.
I decided enough was enough.
If I was going to figure out my skin, I needed to really understand it. So I enrolled in esthetics school in 2010 and became a Licensed Advanced Esthetician in Nevada.

In 2013, I opened Skin Apothecary with one goal in mind: to help others get real results and walk out feeling confident in their skin—empowered, informed, and finally seen.
